KATHARINE E SCOTT
I am currently completing my PhD in psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I work with Dr. Patricia G. Devine in the Prejudice and Intergroup Relations Lab and Dr. Kristin Shutts in the Social Kids Lab.
My research lies at the intersection of social and developmental psychology. I study how to effectively teach children and adults about race (and sometimes gender). In particular, I design and evaluate interventions to reduce racial bias towards Black people and increase anti-racism with the goal of creating a sustained impact in the real world.
